Received 2 Brand New Marineland Visitherm Submersible heaters from Marineland for warranty. They are in retail packaging and all. They are 300 Watts Each and are rated for ” up to 80 gallons”.

From what I read it’s not as simple as replacing the T12 lightbulb with a T8 lightbulb correct? I have a 36″ hood with a GE Aqua Rays F20 T12 20W Lightbulb in it. I have a 45G tall so it’s about 24″ deep. I want to upgradethe lighting in order to have plants other than anubias in my tank.
