Purigen from my corner filter with filter pad and everything leaks and now its EVERYWHERE!! How to clean up? (

So today I was wiping the inside of the tank with a sponge to clean and from the outside it looks like calcium build up cause it looks white, however, whenever I’m done wiping and cleaning its brown.

Is it brown algae build up or calcium build up?

So I gave up boiling my driftwood multiple times to get rid of the tannis, so I am going to just have the tannis leech into the water. After awhile it’s actually pretty cool to have.
