ID this fish
hello all,
During the floods, lots of fish where swimming in my normally dry and tidy terrace.
Of course a great chance to catch local Thai fish, which soon most of the kids did, and subsequently dropped of at my house.
I kept a bunch, while the rest was released in the pond in my village.
This fish I show now is one that I can not ID.
Some info about it:
1. It seems to breath air, like an Anabantoid. Goes up every minute or two to gulp some air.
2. It has 2 black spots, 1 on the connection tail/body & 1 just after his head.
3. As a young/small fish (like less than 1 inch, the 2 black spots where permanent). For that reason, I first thought it to be a 3 spotted Gourami but it clearly is not.
4. He's as agressive or worse than the tilapia in his tank.
